Business management software development in Milan: from Excel spreadsheet to software.

Many managers are born in the same way: a shared Excel sheet that at some point no longer holds. They open it up in many, someone overwrites a cell, formulas break down, and deadlines live in a person's memory.

A custom-made management system keeps the same data and adds to it what the sheet lacks: roles and permissions, change history, deadlines alerts, access from the phone, billing links and CRM. And when something doesn't come back, the historian says who changed what, and when.

Software development in Milan: what we build.

  • Business software

For orders, inventory, jobs and technical service visits, with roles, permissions and a history of changes.

  • Custom CRM

When off-the-shelf systems force you to sell their way rather than the way you work.

  • Portals for customers and suppliers

Documents, order status and enquiries: fewer calls to ask how things are progressing.

  • Dashboard

Figures that update automatically, replacing the report rebuilt by hand every Monday.

  • Web app and PWA

Use them on your phone or computer, without going through app stores.

  • Integrations

The new software connects to invoicing, CRM, your website and email through APIs or n8n.

For when custom software makes sense and when to choose an off-the-shelf product, see our guide to Custom CRM or off-the-shelf business management software; for links, the one about how integrate business management software with n8n.

How you work with us, in person.

A management system is designed looking at who will use it. In Milan and Lombardy we come to see it live; outside the region we organize ourselves in call.

We write code with coding agents such as Claude Code, with every change reviewed by a person. The repository, domain and accounts remain in your company's name. We agree a fixed-price quote after the first meeting. You try working versions between milestones, so the final delivery comes without surprises.

A nearby software house: when it makes a difference.

Count, when

  • The software supports everyday work, such as inventory, production or customer service. Seeing that work in person avoids many misunderstandings.
  • On release you have to train people: a session on site is worth more than a manual.
  • In the first weeks of use a problem is looked at together, on the screen of who found it.

It matters less, when

  • The perimeter is clear and written, such as a link between two software or a portal with defined functions.
  • In the company you are already used to calls and shared documents: we also work with those who are outside the region.

Where custom business software usually starts.

Three typical situations, to understand us. If you recognize yourself in one, the first meeting starts already ahead.

  • Orders and stock

A wholesale business with sales representatives on the road and inventory updated only at the end of the day.

  • Commodities and Deadlines

A technical practice managing construction sites and casework with a separate spreadsheet for each client and deadlines in a calendar.

  • Technical interventions

A service company with technicians working across the province, paper job reports and invoices prepared at the end of the week.

What to bring, if you come to the studio

  • The sheet or software you use today, even if it's a disaster:especially if it's a disaster.
  • A document that really turns around, like an order, a report or a quote.
  • Who will use the business management software, and what does each person do? Two lines are enough.

Among the models we evaluate are Claude Sonnet 5.5 and GPT-6.1 Sol for articulated functions, Haiku 5.5 for classification and extraction, Opus 5.5, Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra for more challenging cases. We then choose a prototype on the project data, verifying contract, time and cost. Integration does not give the model indiscriminate access to the database.

How much elsewhere: the price depends on functions, links to other software and data to be processed, not the CAP. After the free meeting we make a fixed price quote; the factors that move it are on the price page.

If an off-the-shelf system already meets almost all your needs, it is usually the better choice. Custom software makes sense when your way of working provides an advantage that a standard product would remove, or when you spend your days copying data between systems that do not connect.

Yes, when those programs allow you to exchange data: APIs, exports or database access. We verify this before the quote, because the links are between the items that move more times and costs.

The prototype to click comes a few days after the meeting: we build it with programming agents and see a person again. The first version to use with true data has a written calendar, decided before leaving.

Yes: Repository, domain and account are registered to your company and we write it in the contract. If you want to change supplier one day, take everything away.
