Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by giallostudio.it and how you can manage your preferences. We use technical cookies and, with your consent, statistical cookies (Google Analytics 4) and marketing cookies (Meta Pixel and Google Ads) to measure our advertising campaigns. No non-technical cookies are activated before your consent.
What are cookies
Cookies are small files saved on your device that allow the site to function and, in some cases, to collect statistical information.
Technical cookies
These are necessary for the website to function and to remember your consent choices. They do not require consent and cannot be disabled: the cookie giallo-consent (6 months) and the entry giallo-consent-v4 in your browser's local storage, which record the choice you make in the banner.
Statistical cookies
Only if you consent to the category statistics, we use an analytics tool. It is not loaded, and no request is sent to the provider, until you consent.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 (property G-KE3DNQRXXL) helps us understand which pages people read and which channels visitors arrive from. GA4 installs cookies and assigns an identifier to your browser: under the GDPR, this means that the data collected is personal data and not just anonymous statistics.
- _ga — a browser identifier used to distinguish visits. Duration: 2 years.
- _ga_KE3DNQRXXL — maintains session state for this property. Duration: 2 years.
We have enabledIP address anonymisation and configured the Consent Mode v2 of Google: the advertising purposes (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) remain denied if you do not consent to the category marketing, and are enabled only when you do. Analytics consent alone never enables personalised advertising. Giallo is the data controller for this data; Google Ireland Limited acts as a processor, with possible transfers to the United States on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information in the Google privacy policy.
Marketing cookies
The category marketing includes two tools: Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram campaigns, and Google Ads for Google Search campaigns. Neither is loaded before you consent.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
Only if you consent to the category marketing, we use Meta Pixel and the Conversions API from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd to measure the effectiveness of Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns, for example a contact form submission recorded as a “Lead”. Before you consent, the Pixel is not loaded and no data is sent to Meta.
The cookies set are:
- _fbp — browser identifier to attribute conversions to campaigns. Duration: up to 3 months.
- _fbc — stores the click parameter from the ad (fbclid). Duration: up to 3 months.
Through the Conversions API some events, such as form submissions, are also sent to Meta from the server, with your email address in hashed form (SHA-256), never in plain text, and always only with prior consent. Meta acts as a controller or joint controller for its own purposes; processing may involve a transfer of data to the United States, based on the standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). More information in the Meta's privacy policy.
Google Ads
Only with consent to the category marketing we activate the tag of Google Ads (AW-18309249476), which allows us to know which ads on the search network led to a contact or audit request. Before consent the tag is not loaded.
- _gcl_au — links the conversion to the ad click. Duration: 90 days.
- _gcl_aw — stores the click parameter (
gclid) when you arrive from an ad. Duration: 90 days.
With the enhanced conversions, when you submit the form, the email address you entered is converted to a SHA-256 hash inside your browser and sent to Google only in that form: your plain-text email address does not leave your device and is used solely to attribute the conversion to the correct click. Google Ireland Limited acts as a data processor, with possible transfers to the United States on the basis of theEU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR). You can disable ad personalisation in your Google account settings.
How to manage consent
At the first visit you can accept, refuse or choose individual categories (analytics and marketing) through the banner, with equally prominent options. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the link “Manage cookies” in the footer, or by deleting the site data from the browser. Upon revocation the Google Consent Mode returns to denied, Meta Pixel receives the withdrawal of consent, we remove Google and Meta cookies from our domain and reload the page without these tools. From that point, no further events are sent to Meta or Google. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
